Job Description:

Join a busy Level 1 Trauma Center in Winston-Salem as an experienced RN in the Emergency Department. This fast-paced ICU-level setting demands your expertise in managing complex trauma cases, including multisystem injuries, STEMI, strokes, burn injuries, and respiratory emergencies. Expect to navigate a high patient volume with acuity levels ranging from stable to critical, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including ED techs, pharmacists, and physicians. This assignment offers a chance to refine your skills in a teaching hospital environment, working 12-hour night shifts over a 13-week contract, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours. Whether you're assessing trauma patients, managing ventilators, or participating in rapid decision-making, your role will be integral to delivering top-tier emergency care in a facility known for its trauma and stroke centers.
