Job Description:

This ER position offers a chance to work in a busy hospital setting with approximately 40 patients treated daily. You will be responsible for managing cardiac, respiratory, and GI cases, often requiring quick thinking and teamwork during 12-hour day shifts. The facility has 11 beds and an intermixed ER hold process, with ER nurses managing patient flow. Expect to handle various drips and utilize equipment such as vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow devices, with RTs on-site 24/7 for advanced airway and breathing treatments. Providers have in-house physician and mid-level coverage around the clock, while charge nurses take patient loads. The environment emphasizes reliability and hard work, with a supportive team that manages triage, psych rooms, and security, all in a setting that encourages collaboration and competence.
