Job Description:

This travel nursing opportunity places you in a newly opening Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a renowned academic medical center in Winston-Salem. The role is focused on managing high-acuity cardiac patients, including post-cardiac surgery, transplants, and complex arrhythmias. You'll experience the unique challenge of transitioning this unit from a high acuity PCU to an ICU, providing a dynamic environment where your skills will be vital. Expect to perform advanced procedures such as managing Impella devices, wound care, intubations, and hemodynamic support, all while collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals. The assignment offers an exciting chance to develop specialized cardiac ICU expertise in a supportive setting, with opportunities to care for diverse and complex cardiac cases.
