Job Description:

This travel nursing position places you in a busy operating room within a well-respected hospital in Shreveport, LA. You'll be circulating for complex surgical cases involving robotic procedures, neuro-spine, neuro-vascular, transplant surgeries, and general surgeries like nephrectomies and bariatric procedures. The role offers the chance to work alongside experienced staff in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to scrub in if you have the necessary skills. Expect to handle patient ratios of 1:1, with support from OR techs and a dedicated team of anesthesiologists, physicians, and support staff. The schedule includes 8-hour shifts with flexibility needed, including weekend on-call shifts, and a focus on a wide variety of surgical disciplines. This assignment emphasizes your expertise in robotic surgeries and transplant cases, providing a rewarding opportunity to sharpen and showcase your advanced OR skills.
