Why did you choose Atlas MedStaff?
I was very fortunate to have worked with Steve Ryan and Rich Smith in the past. When I received a call from Steve telling me he had joined Atlas and he asked me if I might be interested, there was no doubt in my mind this is where I belong. These are men of quality character and high integrity and I wanted to be a part of the vision they had for Atlas. I look forward to coming to work every day and love what I do. I have really been lucky to work with the travelers I have come to know over the last several years as well as the team/family I get to work with in our office. It truly is a family type of atmosphere we have here and I couldn’t do it without their support.
This is another area in which I am very lucky. I have a high school age son, Cal, and an incredibly patient finance’, Julie. She is definitely the brains of the outfit at home! Sometimes I’m not sure how she does it! Cal is active in sports and hockey seems to be his favorite, but he is a pretty darn good baseball player too, and is experimenting with the Pole Vault in track. Julie and I spend many hours on the road shuttling him from one activity to the next and it’s a blast. I really am lucky son of a gun!
Although my main hobby is watching my son’s sports activities, I also enjoy playing golf. Can’t quite hit it as far as I used to, or quite as accurate, but I sure seem to hit it more….(not a good thing). Julie and I are also avid walkers and we love to fish. Fishing seems to take the tension away that the golfing provides. We also enjoy going to estate sales to see what hidden treasures we can find. Julie finds the treasures and says I find junk. Hardly fair.
