Job Description:

Join an exceptional team as a Pediatric Stepdown Registered Nurse in a unique inpatient unit located in Chicago, Illinois. This role offers a chance to work with our youngest patients, ranging from 2 weeks to 18 years old. In this 39-bed unit, you’ll provide care mainly to children who have technology dependence, including those with tracheostomies and chronic ventilators. Expect to utilize your skills in a fast-paced, engaging environment, where no two days are the same. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the safety and well-being of your young patients, while having the opportunity to collaborate closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

This position requires a valid Illinois RN license in hand, alongside certifications in BCLS and PALS. With a shift structure of 12-hour night shifts, you’ll have every other weekend scheduled, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while delivering essential care.
