Job Description:

Step into an exciting role as a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Rochester, New York! This position offers a 12-hour rotating shift, where you’ll dive into a fast-paced environment focused on providing care primarily for CHF patients, acute MIs, and device post-care. With every other weekend and some holiday commitments, this role offers a rhythm that helps balance work and life.

You'll be handling a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7, collaborating with a cohesive team to ensure effective monitoring and management of dysrhythmias. Your expertise in IV therapy and phlebotomy will be indispensable, as will your ability to navigate Epic charting. Candidates must have a New York license in hand, along with certifications in ACLS and BLS, and a minimum of one year’s experience. As a first-time traveler, you’ll discover the unique challenges of nursing while floating between units, enhancing your skill set along the way.
