Job Description:

Join a specialized oncology unit for this 13-week travel contract in Peoria, Illinois, working 12-hour night shifts. You'll be a vital part of a team caring for a variety of cancer patients, including those with lymphoma, leukemia, hematology concerns, and radiation oncology. Expect to handle IV chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration, manage medication precautions, and monitor for side effects. This role involves collaborating with charge RNs, utilizing PCT support, troubleshooting RT equipment like Bipap and Cpap devices, and working within a well-coordinated team that values expertise in oncology treatments. The setting offers a private room environment and emphasizes safety and precision in medication handling and patient monitoring.
