Job Description:

This contract opportunity places you on a Medical/Surgical Oncology unit in Omaha, Nebraska, working 12-hour night shifts. As an RN, you'll focus on patients recovering from tumor surgeries such as prostatectomies and mastectomies, providing essential post-operative care with an emphasis on accurate documentation, timely interventions, and patient-centered support. The role involves managing titratable drips, reading strips on central monitoring, and collaborating closely with charge nurses and house supervisors. Knowledge of oncology considerations is a plus, but internal training ensures you're well-prepared. This assignment offers a hands-on experience in a specialized surgical setting without the need for chemotherapy duties, all while working in a supportive environment that values your critical thinking and responsiveness.
