Job Description:

Join a specialized cardiac ICU team as a CVICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract in Greensboro, NC. This role offers a unique opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) with a focus on post-cardiac surgical patients, including the management of complex cases such as ECMO, VAD, IABP, and TAVI procedures. You’ll be involved in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, monitoring pulmonary artery lines, and supporting ventilated patients using advanced equipment like Swan-Ganz catheters and high-flow nasal cannulas. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience, with first-time travelers being welcome. Float between multiple Cone Health campuses as needed, providing critical care for patients recovering from cardiac surgeries, vascular repairs, or experiencing respiratory or renal failure. Expect individualized scheduling with weekend shifts, the possibility of holidays, and a focus on precision in managing cardiac and vascular patients in a fast-paced environment.
