This contract offers an opportunity to work on a hematology and oncology unit within a large hospital setting, focusing on administering chemotherapy and managing high-acuity patients. The role involves overnight 12-hour shifts, giving you a chance to experience a different rhythm and more uninterrupted rest between shifts. You'll be supporting patients with complex diagnoses, including hem/onc conditions, and gaining valuable skills in chemo administration, line management, and emergency response. Expect to work alongside experienced staff, with opportunities to learn new procedures from clinical managers. Job Specifics:
Location: Jackson, Mississippi
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a)

Weekly Gross: approximately $1,660.32
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Additional details include working in a high-acuity units, administering chemo, managing lines and chest tubes, and working with advanced monitoring equipment. Travelers must meet specific certification and experience requirements, including BLS, and ideally ACLS. Experience in Level 1 trauma centers, EPIC charting, and large hospital settings is preferred. This role involves rotating weekends and holidays, with flexible scheduling to accommodate preferences whenever possible. All staff are expected to float between units, and orientation includes initial training and preceptor shifts to ensure smooth integration into the team.
