Job Description:

Join a busy high-risk obstetrics unit as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse on a 12-hour night shift. This assignment offers a vibrant, fast-paced environment where you'll manage obstetrical patients from 16 weeks gestation and beyond, including high-risk antepartum and postpartum care, as well as routine outpatient procedures like fetal surveillance and medication administration. You’ll be circulating in a unit that handles around 20 births in 24 hours, with a mix of scheduled and emergency cesarean sections, along with high patient acuity. The role emphasizes competence in sterile vaginal exams, immediate newborn care, and the ability to adapt quickly to a busy, high-volume setting. This position is unique in its speed and intensity, requiring RN experience preferably with circulating OR skills, and offers the opportunity to work within a specialized high-risk maternity environment.
