Job Description:

Join a specialized team in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at our Asheville location. This contract offers the chance to work with a highly skilled staff managing complex trauma surgical cases. The role involves performing advanced procedures such as central line placements, chest tubes, arterial lines, and percutaneous tracheostomies. You'll be working on the 4th floor in a fast-paced environment, requiring quick thinking and excellent teamwork. The position's unique aspect is the staffing challenge—sometimes staffing may be tight, but the opportunity to hone your skills in critical trauma care is well worth it. Day-to-day, you'll utilize Cerner EMR and handle critical equipment like Camino ICP, CRRT, and EVD, all while maintaining professionalism in a dedicated ICU setting.
