Job Description:

This contract position in Rockford, IL offers the chance to work as a CVI (Cardiac Cath / IR) Technologist at Mercyhealth Javon Bea Hospitals. The role involves supporting cardiovascular intervention procedures across Interventional Cardiology, Neurology, Radiology, and Electrophysiology specialties. You'll verify patient identity and consent, prepare sterile supplies and medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with imaging and procedural setups. The daily routine combines technical expertise with patient interaction, ensuring comfort and safety throughout complex cardiovascular procedures. While the schedule is flexible within a 40-hour week, you'll experience a mix of day shifts that keep the work engaging and rewarding.
