Job Description:

This ER contract in Iron Mountain offers an opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts in a busy trauma center with 14 beds and two trauma bays. You'll be handling a variety of cases including traumas, STEMIs, strokes, and MVAs, often triaging in dedicated rooms and managing patient holds, with a focus on variable patient diagnoses. The role requires a minimum of two years of ED experience, and you'll collaborate with in-house physicians and mid-levels around the clock. With a patient volume of 40-60 per day, you’ll find a mix of fast-paced action and the chance to refine your emergency skills in a supportive yet challenging environment. This assignment offers a chance to experience a unique, fast-moving trauma ER setting in northern Michigan, with opportunities to engage in fast track care, monitor EKGs, and work alongside a dedicated emergency team. The shift allows for rotating start times, and the position includes weekend and holiday shifts, offering a comprehensive ED experience in a critical setting.
