Job Description:

This OR RN contract offers a hands-on opportunity in a large hospital setting with over 250 beds and Level 1 trauma status. You will work in a busy surgical environment with 15 or more OR suites, handling a variety of procedures including neuro, ortho, GYN, Urology, and laparoscopic surgeries. Expect to assist with robotic surgeries using DaVinci systems, prepare sterile fields, position patients, and document in an electronic health record system akin to EPIC. The role involves circulating duties, setup of operative equipment such as cautery and lasers, and working closely with surgical teams. The schedule features 10-hour days with rotating call, requiring flexibility to stay late and rotate to different shifts including potential floating to other units at the facility. This assignment isn't just about routine tasks—it's about supporting complex surgeries in a fast-paced environment with a focus on precision and teamwork.
