Job Description:

Join a dedicated team on a travel healthcare contract working in a busy hospital setting in Harrisonburg, VA. As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) on the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), you'll be responsible for monitoring and managing patient care across a variety of cases, with ratios ranging from 1:3 to 1:5. When needed, you'll contribute to Telemetry and Medical/Surgical units, adapting to different team needs with ratios of 1:6. This role offers a chance to sharpen your skills in a fast-paced environment, all while enjoying the different challenges each shift brings—from assessing patient progress to supporting bedside care, all during 12-hour night shifts. Expect to experience a mix of routine tasks and complex decision-making—making this assignment uniquely engaging.
