Job Description:

This travel assignment as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Medical Surgical unit offers a chance to work with adult patients presenting with conditions such as COPD exacerbations, infections, or social issues. You will be responsible for taking patient vital signs, administering medications, managing simple wound dressings, and supporting telemetry monitoring, all while working alongside RNs to provide efficient care. The setting involves night shifts totaling 36 hours per week over a 13-week contract, with every other weekend on call. The role provides an engaging opportunity to apply your acute care skills in a fast-paced hospital environment, with a support team that values your independence and clinical expertise.
