Job Description:

Join a dedicated inpatient acute care rehab team as an Occupational Therapist, working Monday through Friday with one weekend day per month. This role involves evaluating patients across all levels of acuity—from ICU to progressive care units—handling diagnoses such as cardiac procedures, stroke, TBI, joint replacements, fractures, respiratory illnesses, dementia, MS, Parkinson’s, and mobility issues. Your expertise will guide the development and execution of personalized plans of care, including ADL training, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities, while also assessing discharge suitability daily. Expect to use Cerner for charting and wear royal blue scrubs paired with black shoes. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your manual therapy and lymphedema certifications, with prior experience in acute hospital settings strongly preferred.

Job Specifics:

Location: Lafayette, Indiana
Shift: 8-hour days (08:00 - 16:30)
Duration: 13 weeks with a weekly gross of approximately $1,997.40 and a commitment of 40 hours per week.
