Job Description:

Join a dedicated team caring for adults and geriatrics diagnosed with acute leukemia in a specialized hematology unit. This RN role involves 12-hour night shifts, with a focus on infection prevention, falls prevention, and managing complex cases such as central lines, PICC lines, and IV therapies. You'll moderate patient loads aiming for a 1:4 ratio, with the flexibility to be scheduled for days or nights based on departmental needs. The environment offers a chance to hone skills in telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and rapid response teams, all while working with a supportive team that values quality care and patient safety. Expect to engage in a blend of independent and collaborative work, with initial orientation Monday through Friday, followed by on-unit training with a preceptor. This assignment is a rewarding opportunity to expand your hematology expertise in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting.
