Job Description:

Join a well-equipped surgical team in the vibrant city of San Luis Obispo, where you'll be working within a 7-suite operating room facility that handles 15-20 cases daily. This role focuses on supporting a variety of high-volume orthopedic procedures, general surgeries, gynecology, pediatrics, and eye surgeries. While the environment is fast-paced, you'll find satisfaction in scrubbing in for a range of cases, including total joints and other complex surgeries, alongside experienced RN and tech colleagues. The schedule offers 8-hour shifts with flexible start times and a commitment of 40 hours weekly over 13 weeks. Expect to work weekends and be on call one night per week, with a response time of 30 minutes. Certification in sterile processing, at least 2 years of OR experience, and BLS are required—all travel experience is a bonus. This assignment offers a chance to refine your technical skills while enjoying the scenic surroundings of Central California.
