Job Description:

Join this engaging Pre-Op Care assignment on the ground floor of a bustling facility in Boise, Idaho. You'll be responsible for managing pre-operative patients across a variety of specialties, including general, ortho, urology, ENT, neuro, spine, plastics, GYN, bariatrics, dental, and oncology. The unit accommodates both adults and pediatrics (pediatrics experience not required), with nurse-to-patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:3, depending on patient acuity and schedule needs. Expect to review EPIC schedule and documentation, coordinate patient care, and assist in smoothly preparing patients for procedures. With opportunities to take on extra patients if the OR is delayed, you'll experience a lively, fast-paced environment where adaptability is key. Night or day shifts (8 or 10 hours) are available, offering a flexible schedule, with minimal weekend, holiday, or call responsibilities. Blue scrubs will be provided. This role provides a chance not only to sharpen your pre-op skills but also to enjoy a vibrant city full of interesting sights and activities.
