Job Description:

This 11-week assignment offers pediatric critical care nurses the opportunity to support a busy children's hospital’s float pool. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts, floating between PICU, CVICU, and NICU at two campus locations in the Phoenix area, including the main hospital and Arrowhead. Nurses will experience a diverse caseload, from neonatal liver transplants to pediatric trauma cases. The position emphasizes adaptability, as you'll be required to float daily within the designated units based on clinical needs. Responsibilities include providing specialized pediatric critical care, assisting with complex procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The work environment is fast-paced and rewarding, with a focus on high-acuity pediatric patients in a stand-alone hospital setting known for excellence in children’s health.
