Job Description:

This Emergency Department RN contract offers a chance to work in a busy 65-bed acute care setting with a pod-based layout, including dedicated pediatric and mental health areas. You'll be responsible for providing skilled emergency nursing care during 12-hour night shifts, with the opportunity to also cover rotating day shifts when scheduled. The role involves assessing and documenting patient conditions, administering IVs, performing phlebotomy, monitoring cardiac rhythms, and utilizing point-of-care testing, all while maintaining focus on critical thinking and patient education. With at least two years of emergency nursing experience and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS, you'll join a team that values both expertise and autonomy. The unit's patient census averages 230 visits daily, and you'll be supporting a diverse patient population.
