Job Description:

Join a high-acuity telemetry and respiratory unit as a Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel contract in Winston-Salem, NC. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts (18:45-07:15), providing specialized care for patients with COPD, pneumonia, respiratory distress, COVID-19, and related conditions. This role involves managing ventilators (primarily for chronic trach/vent patients), interpreting dysrhythmias, and initiating IV therapy. While the unit is busy with an average patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:6, you’ll be supported by a team including respiratory therapists, charge nurses, and ancillary staff. This assignment offers a dynamic environment where no two shifts are the same, and you'll experience a collaborative approach to high-acuity patient care.
