Job Description:

Join a reputable hospital in Alexandria, LA, on a 13-week contract as a registered nurse in a specialized cardiac unit. This role involves providing care for patients with conditions such as MI, CHF, arrhythmias, and PVD, including managing numerous cardiac drips. You'll work 12-hour day shifts from 7A to 7P, delivering routine and complex nursing interventions. The position offers opportunities for professional growth through autonomous practice and collaboration with a skilled team, with some occasional floating to other units when needed. This assignment is perfect for nurses who enjoy managing cardiac patients without titrating drips but with the expertise to oversee their care. Weekend work is required for three weekends within a six-week schedule, but there are no on-call duties.
