Job Description:

Join a renowned Cardiac Intensive Care unit in Lynchburg, VA, for a 13-week travel assignment working 12-hour night shifts. This role is perfect for experienced RN professionals who thrive in a busy cardiac step-down environment and are comfortable handling patients with high acuity levels. You will be responsible for managing cardiac patients in a CIMU setting, including monitoring vital signs, administering IV treatments, and utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment such as wound vacs and tube feeding pumps. Prior travel experience is required, and the role may include charge responsibilities with corresponding pay differentials. Expect to work closely with student practitioners and new hires, contributing to a teaching hospital culture.
