Job Description:

Join a vibrant histology laboratory team in Minneapolis for an 18-week contract as a Histology Tech. This role involves performing embedding and microtomy tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. You will work Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., utilizing your skills in tissue processing, embedding, and sectioning to support patient diagnoses. The position offers the opportunity to handle a variety of specimen types, from small biopsy samples to large tissue blocks, with a focus on precision and quality. Prior experience with automated and manual microtomes, cryostats, and anodes is essential. Strong embedding and microtomy skills are required to excel in this role.
