Job Description:

Join a prestigious acute care hospital in St. Louis as a Step Down Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. You'll work 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30), providing specialized care in a fast-paced step down unit. This role involves managing titration of vasopressors, sedation medications, insulin drips, trach vents, art lines, external pacemakers, and chest tubes. The unit maintains a typical ratio of 1:4, requiring at least two years of recent bedside experience. Flexibility to float within scope to lower acuity floors and the need for ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications makes this an excellent opportunity for experienced clinicians seeking a challenging yet rewarding assignment.
