Job Description:

Join our traveling healthcare team as a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Emergency Department of a busy hospital in Tacoma, Washington. In this role, you'll work 12-hour rotating shifts for a total of 36 hours weekly over a 15-week assignment. The hospital features a 35-bed pediatric ED, with a mix of high- and lower-acuity patients, giving you the chance to handle a variety of pediatric emergency cases. The focus will be on general pediatric emergency care, trauma, and mental health cases, with opportunities to refine triage skills and trauma response in a fast-paced environment. You'll work with a staffing ratio of 1:3 during high-acuity times and 1:6 for lower acuity, supported by a dedicated team and EPIC EMR system. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses with at least 1.5 years of pediatric ED experience, including 6 months in triage or trauma, who are ready for their first travel assignment or are seasoned travelers seeking a dynamic setting.
