Job Description:

Join our team for a 13-week contract on a busy Acuity Adaptable Unit in Terre Haute, IN, working 12-hour night shifts. This role is ideal for ICU-trained nurses or IMC/PCU stepdown nurses with a passion for complex cardiac, stroke, respiratory failure, DKA, and sepsis cases. You'll provide critical care in a setting where the nurse-to-patient ratios can vary from 2:1 in ICU to 3 or 4:1 in IMC, managing titratable drips, ventilators, and other advanced equipment. The team includes ICU-trained charge nurses and RTs, with the opportunity to troubleshoot and manage life-support devices, analyze rhythms on Phillips monitors, and support patients through their intensive recovery. This role offers the chance to utilize your expertise in a supportive environment that values both skill and initiative.
