Job Description:

Join our team as a PACU Registered Nurse in lively New Orleans, where your expertise in pre/post-op care will shine! In this critical role, you’ll assist patients transitioning from anesthesia, particularly those who have undergone cardiac procedures. Expect to work closely with patients recovering from a range of treatments, including TAVR, ablations, and cardioversion. Your team will be dynamic, and you might even find yourself joining the "Emergency Team," where you’ll have the unique opportunity to respond to unexpected events, ensuring that patient care remains a top priority.

You will work 10-hour shifts, either from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, based on your experience and discussions with your manager. With a duration of 13 weeks and a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, this assignment is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of PACU or pre/post-op experience, holding certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
