Job Description:

Join our vibrant team as a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at a leading children's hospital in Newark, New Jersey. This 13-week travel healthcare contract offers an exciting opportunity to work in a specialized unit dedicated to the care of critically ill pediatric patients. You'll engage with advanced medical equipment, including Medtronic pacemakers and BIPAP/CPAP systems, while ensuring the highest level of care. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts every other weekend, providing you with ample time to recharge and explore the local area.

As a PICU nurse, you’ll be part of a close-knit team focusing on critical care, utilizing your skills and experience to make a real impact. With a patient ratio of 1:2+, you will have the opportunity to deliver personalized care while also floating to Pediatrics and NICU as needed. Your expertise in high-flow nasal cannula, trachs, and ventilators will be essential in this dynamic setting.
