In this dayshift role, you will be responsible for administering prescribed therapies, operating a variety of crucial respiratory equipment—including ventilators and oxygen devices—and acting as a clinical resource for your team. Your work will directly impact patients ranging from infants to geriatrics, ensuring they receive the best possible care as you monitor and maintain equipment and deliver inhaled medications effectively. Not only will you assess patients and document care plans, but you’ll also engage in the fulfilling task of educating patients and families about respiratory treatments, while continuously collaborating with physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care.
