Job Description:

Are you ready to dive into the fast-paced world of emergency medicine? As a travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Schenectady, New York, you will play a crucial role in a dedicated team at the state-of-the-art Neil and Jane Golub Center for Emergency Care. Your journey will include 12-hour night shifts, where you will not only serve patients but also be the first line of support in critical situations. Think of it as your superhero duty, but with scrubs instead of a cape!

In this position, you will administer medications, start IVs, perform EKGs, and engage in essential transports—all while navigating the dynamic environment of the emergency department. Your expertise will shine as you float to the ED Observation Unit, managing patient care collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals. Candidates with a recent NYS license and at least one year of emergency nursing experience are preferred to ensure seamless integration into our energetic facility.
