Job Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Emergency Room where your skills will shine in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. This role requires 2 years of experience in pediatric emergency care, as you'll be at the forefront of managing various pediatric emergencies. Here, you'll dive into an array of cases, from asthma attacks to neonates with fevers. Your expertise in triage will be essential, guiding the flow of young patients needing urgent care while collaborating with a dedicated team of medical professionals.

You'll be working 12-hour night shifts, a structure allowing for three days a week of intensive, meaningful engagement followed by four nights of rest. The Pediatric ER is equipped with 31 to 40 beds, ensuring that you have access to all the necessary resources as you provide critical and time-sensitive interventions such as moderate sedation and ventilatory support. Your responsibilities will also include essential skills like blood product administration, chest tube setup, and rapid sequence intubation, making each shift a unique challenge.
