Job Description:

Embark on an exciting journey as a PICU Registered Nurse at a prominent children's hospital in Newark, New Jersey. In this unique travel healthcare contract, you will have the opportunity to utilize your PICU expertise in a dynamic setting, specifically handling patients who require critical care. Each night, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, you will work four 12-hour shifts, ensuring that young patients receive the attentive care they need during the hours when support is crucial. Your experience with Medtronic pacemakers, telemonitoring, BIPAP/CPAP, vents, and high-flow nasal cannula will be invaluable. Plus, any cardiac experience will set you apart in this role.

Expect to be challenged and engaged as you provide care not just in the PICU, but also floating to pediatrics and NICU based on staffing needs and your skills. The unit has 19 beds, and you will be part of a team that prides itself on effective communication and support. This role requires BLS and PALS certifications, with NRP preferred. Offering a competitive weekly gross of $3,200.00, this assignment is an excellent opportunity for experienced nurses seeking to make a difference in the lives of children during their most vulnerable times.
