Job Description:

This PACU Registered Nurse position places you right in the heart of a busy recovery unit, where you'll be responsible for caring for pediatric patients during post-anesthesia recovery. You'll work in an IR PACU setting, managing phase 1 recovery with a focus on pediatric care, often handling 3-4 late stays every six weeks. The shifts are rotating starting between 6:00 and 8:00 AM, with three 12-hour day shifts each week. Expect to utilize your ICU experience, including phase 1 recovery and pediatric patient handling, to ensure safe and efficient patient recovery. ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications are required, with PALS to be obtained prior to start if not already held. This role offers an engaging, fast-paced environment where you’ll apply your specialized skills to support patient recovery in a vital surgical setting.
