Job Description:

This travel healthcare assignment places you in Oshkosh, WI, working in a busy Emergency Department set in a Level III Trauma Center. You'll handle a diverse patient population, primarily geriatrics, with opportunities to manage cases like chest pain, abdominal discomfort, and falls. The role involves performing general ED responsibilities such as starting PIVs, blood cultures, inserting chest tubes, and participating in code blue situations. Unique to this assignment is the chance to support charge nurse duties occasionally and to collaborate closely with experienced staff, including ER techs, paramedics, and hospitalist teams. The night shift offers a chance to gain valuable night-time ED experience while enjoying the vibrant community of Oshkosh.
