Job Description:

This ICU travel nursing position in Marshfield, Wisconsin, offers a 12-hour night shift where you'll be immersed in caring for high-acuity patients with conditions like respiratory issues, stroke, neuro, GI, and cardiac diagnoses. You'll be responsible for titrating various ICU drips such as propofol, precedex, and vasopressors, and interpreting cardiac rhythms — requiring proficiency in rhythm interpretation and Cerner experience. The role features a patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1 for higher acuity cases, with support from an aide and a team of pulmonologists and residents during the day and one at night. Expect to work 48 hours weekly over a 13-week assignment, with an orientation to set you up for success. This contract demands clinical expertise, independence, and adaptability in a busy and technically equipped ICU environment, making each shift a chance to hone your skills amid a supportive team.
