Join a fast-paced medical-surgical environment in Lafayette, Indiana, where you'll work on a dynamic mixed acuity unit that includes oncology, stroke, cardiac, GI, and pulmonary care. This 12-hour day shift assignment offers a unique opportunity to handle a variety of complex cases, including patients on drips like Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lasix, and Insulin, with the chance to see unstable strokes and BiPap therapy. The role requires solid neuro experience and the ability to adapt to a unit that balances medical-surgical and progressive care, including high-acuity patients and those recovering from procedures like heart catheterizations and pacemaker placements.
