Job Description:

Join this rewarding travel healthcare assignment in a vibrant city known for its welcoming community and lively atmosphere. As a registered nurse in the Labor & Delivery unit, you'll be the vital link in patient journeys from admission to postpartum care. You’ll work 12-hour day shifts, providing expert circulating skills in a dynamic obstetrics setting that handles approximately 50-60 births per month with an average of 1.5 births daily. This position involves staffing a unit with 12 LDRP rooms, triage beds, and postpartum beds, following AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios. You’ll need experience in couplet care, circulating in OR, and titrating drips such as Pitocin. A strong background working with LDRP patients and familiarity with fetal monitoring systems (GE and OBIX) are essential. Expect to collaborate with in-house OB/Neonatology and anesthesia teams, and to follow the unit’s policies on call, floating, and dress code.
