Job Description:
Join a bustling emergency department as a registered nurse specializing in high-acuity adult and pediatric care at a Level III trauma center. This 13-week contract offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment managing patient flow from neonates through geriatrics. Your role will involve performing triage, managing medication drips, assisting with trauma and code situations, and participating in patient stabilization and transfer processes. The ED, known for its volume and intensity, includes zones dedicated to different patient acuities and features a variety of clinical scenarios, from stroke interventions to behavioral health cases. Expect to navigate complex cases while utilizing your skills in emergency procedures, with an emphasis on flexibility and quick thinking to meet the demands of a large, busy trauma center. This assignment provides a unique chance to hone your emergency nursing skills in a dynamic setting that tests and develops your clinical prowess.
