Job Description:

Join our team as a CVOR Tech and immerse yourself in a role that is as dynamic as it is rewarding. In this 13-week travel healthcare contract based in Newark, New Jersey, you will specialize in cardiovascular operating room procedures. You’ll primarily work in the CVOR but may also float to the Main OR when CVOR volumes are low. Your expertise will shine as you handle complex cases such as valve replacements, coronary artery bypasses, and TAVR procedures, with opportunities to leverage your experience with heart and lung transplants.

Get ready for a 40-hour workweek filled with exciting challenges! Your shift structure will typically be 7 AM to 5:30 PM for three days a week and a 7 AM to 3 PM shift for one day, ensuring a nice balance of work and downtime. Additionally, as part of your role, you will be on call for 8-hour shifts on two weekdays, as well as expected to be available for 24 hours over a weekend each month. While in the Main OR, you may also encounter various surgical specialties including general, laparoscopic, and orthopedic procedures.
