Job Description:

Join our team as a Telemetry Registered Nurse in Tyler, Texas, where you’ll play a critical role in monitoring and supporting patients recovering from cardiac interventions. With a focus on providing care within a medical-level cardiac setting, you’ll be working with a diverse patient population, from young adults to geriatric patients, in a unit that consists of 36 private rooms.

Your responsibilities will include the assessment and management of patients recovering from cardiac surgeries, such as coronary artery stent placements and pacemaker implants. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you’ll also float to units of equal or lesser acuity, ensuring patients receive outstanding care tailored to their needs. Get ready to embrace the night shift with open arms; your 12-hour shifts will begin at 19:00 and end at 07:30, covering all the action that occurs when the sun goes down.

Your expertise is valued here, and while you will be surrounded by a supportive team, this opportunity typically requires a minimum of two years of telemetry nursing experience and knowledge of the EPIC system. While every other weekend shift is required, you will find camaraderie and shared purpose in caring for patients during their recovery journey.
