Job Description:

Join us for an exciting opportunity as a Travel RN specializing in Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing in vibrant Watertown, New York! As a floating nurse, you'll experience the thrill of working across various departments including medical-surgical units and a newly renovated acute inpatient rehabilitation unit focused on ortho and neuro care. Picture yourself working 12-hour night shifts (7 PM to 7 AM) for 36 hours per week, all while getting to know the unique patient population that you will support. You will encounter a diverse range of cases including septic patients, those with COPD and CHF, as well as post-operative individuals, providing you with rich experiences and professional growth.

With a preferred background in PCU and at least one successful travel assignment under your belt, you will leverage your BLS and ACLS certifications to thrive in this fast-paced environment. The fun doesn't stop there! While delivering quality nursing care, you will also be part of a collaborative team dedicated to ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort during their hospital stay. Bring your creativity and problem-solving skills to the forefront, as you will occasionally assume charge nurse duties, guiding and supporting team efforts while navigating the changing dynamics of the healthcare setting.
