Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers a unique opportunity to work in an emergency department serving a busy community with approximately 30 patients treated daily. You will be managing higher acuity patients, including cardiac issues, strokes, traumas, and other critical cases, utilizing your triage experience and comfort with conscious sedation. The role involves handling all critical drips and bedside procedures, including bedside sedation and intubation support with RTs present 24/7. The shift is 12 hours overnight, providing a chance to experience the quieter flow of night shifts while still managing a diverse patient population. This assignment is ideal for experienced ER nurses comfortable with high acuity, fast-paced environments, and multi-tasking with telemetry interpretation and imaging transport.
