Job Description:

Join us as a PCU Registered Nurse on a night shift in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, for an engaging 13-week contract. This role involves managing patients on the Progressive Care Unit with responsibilities including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, oxygen protocol oversight, non-invasive airway techniques, and drips and line management. You will work in a fast-paced environment, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-6, utilizing your skills to ensure safe and effective patient care during overnight hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. A successful candidate will have at least two years of recent experience, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and be familiar with blood product administration, isolation precautions, and computerized documentation systems. This assignment offers a chance to sharpen your critical thinking skills and enjoy the satisfaction of supporting patients during nighttime hours in a vibrant community setting.
