Join the dedicated team in Gainesville at UF Health Shands Heart Vascular & Neuromedicine Hospitals, working in the bustling Operating Rooms of the HVN East Tower. This specialized CVOR RN role involves handling complex cardiac, neuro, and vascular cases that demand precision and expertise. Your days will be set on a night shift schedule, from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a commitment of 8 hours per night, covering a 40-hour week. The ORs feature a state-of-the-art 15-room complex capable of accommodating intricate procedures, providing you with an engaging and challenging environment. Expect to float between North and South Tower ORs based on staffing needs, with a 1-2 days per week call requirement that includes weekends and holidays. Respond within 45 minutes when called in, as flexibility and readiness are essential. This assignment is perfect for experienced CVOR RNs who thrive in high-acuity, high-stakes settings and are comfortable working some weekends and on call. Your expertise in cardiac (open heart), neuro, and vascular surgeries will be vital, along with the ability to scrub and circulate. Candidates should have recent cardiac experience, at least 2 years as an RN, and previous travel assignments preferred. Epic experience, BLS, TNCC, and FL or compact licenses are required. This role offers a competitive weekly gross pay of approximately $2,783.20, with travel and local rate options.
