Job Description:

Join a team dedicated to providing specialized care in the West 7 Med/Tele Complex Care unit, which features 37 beds and requires a professional to work the day shift from 7A to 7P on 12-hour shifts. This contract offers flexibility with 36 or 48 hours per week, including at least one weekend shift and the possibility of working holidays, adding a touch of routine to your schedule. You will be responsible for managing patient progress through charting in EPIC, floating to different units as needed, and working as a charge nurse when required. Prior experience in acute med-surg or tele and a current NY RN license along with NIH AHA BLS certification are essential. Highland will provide training if needed, and candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. The assignment is designed for healthcare professionals eager to experience a lively yet manageable environment over a 22-week minimum duration, with the chance to extend to 26 weeks.
